Could he be pursuing a Filial Spirit to take his mind off things? But there may also be a few hypnosis books quietly snuck in there too, along with the weirder ones on time from other worlds that looked the most interesting...]

Skipping an entire weekend? Now I know they're deliberately trying to torture us... [Even without 'work' in the standard sense, who likes going to bed Friday to wake up Monday?!] Does anyone remember anything from the past weekend? Or notice any details out of place now for that matter, anything at all?

I don't think Luceti and "normal" go together very well. Although experiments every month are a regular occurrence, we usually get to keep our memories intact afterward.

That's happened before...though the last times that I remember, it happened in December instead of January. I don't remember any more about those times than I do this one, though.

Without any evidence left behind to explain what we might have gone through, that's rather difficult. I wish I could make an educated guess, but given how quickly they snap everything back to normal afterward, I have no idea.

Cut on my shoulder - someone healed it but, um, wasn't very good at it. [Unbenownst to Giles, it was him.] Apart from that, no, nothing out of the ordinary in that regard. That I've found quite yet, at least. Haven't actually felt up to checking too thoroughly, after all.

[THIS IS HITTING ALL THE BUTTONS, ALL OF THEM. He knows it's probably Malnosso antics. People are reporting so many different aftereffects that it's hard to get a consistent feeling for... anything that may have happened. But still.]

This happens every year. There's always one weekend all of us can't remember, and they never give us any hints about what happens during that period. It's getting really frustrating.
