[Mulder glances around at the latest scenery. He knows this place, knows it all too well. Skyland Mountain. Where they took Scully. Where so many horrible things started for her- the abduction, the experiments, the cancer, the daughter who never got to really live.]

Up, up, ascending... ascending to the stars...

I wonder, if I wait long enough- Look! They're here! Exactly how it really happened.

[Mulder tilts the journal so that the lights off of a UFO can be seen in the night sky.]

I'm gonna go check this out and see what happens. Someone feed my fish if I'm not back soon...

[Except as Mulder approaches the light a very different kind of abduction takes place, as droids sweep out from the surrounding trees. There's gunfire and fighting sounds, along with Mulder cursing a bunch... and then everything is silent.]

[Again, he doesn't filter due to panic, because by the time he notices this Mulder is already getting beaten and taken.]

[They already took Ami. Now they're taking Mulder. Oh gods, are they taking everybody he loves?]

[There's nothing to be done about it. Just staring at the journal blankly and telling himself he'll be there for the man when he comes back, whatever happens.]
