Aside from that, I'm almost starting to feel a sense of routine and normality, between my ongoing quest to commune with the spirits and now working on what's essentially becoming the Lucetian X-Files. I have some faint hope that documenting the experiments will give me a better understanding of this place. Although I would kill for a computer to type them out on. Uh... not literally kill, for the record.

The food is free, but the TV reception is terrible, the recreational activities consist of reality-altering experiments which will make you wish you were on reality-altering drugs, and the vacation staff running the place have a mysterious fetish for wings. Overall I give this resort a half star. You really should have gone to Disneyworld instead.

They've been really damn careful then, to make sure that nothing falls in our hands which could pick up on or measure or give us any useful information on their experiments whatsoever.

Neither have I, which is one of the few things we have going for us on our side. No permanent effects... So far. Unless you count the wings.

Hopefully your vision will be back to the normal state, I know it's too much to ask them to use their powers for good rather than evil and actually fix something for once...

I hope they'll reconsider it, though. Some of us could use a break as much as they, though I suppose all the strife outside the barrier is keeping their attention from it. We might even see another draft, before long.

I think it would be worth checking out too, even if the biopsy turned up no measurably unusual results. Although I agree that you wouldn't want to go around sampling just anyone, it would have to be from people who trust what you're doing and are willing.

...And I keep thinking that the Malnosso have to slip up somewhere, at some point. Even they can't be perfect. Maybe they already have messed up somewhere down the line and we just didn't realize or have a chance to use it to our advantage.

Uh... Not really. It's as physical as a cartoon heart can be. See, when a cartoon character has a heart, it's proof that they're loved by their fans. Then, when they're forgotten, they lose that love. So they lose their heart, geddit?

Gettin' your heart back means you've regained the love of your fans and then ya can leave Wasteland. It's just hard for us classics to make a comeback once we're filed away. Cartoon shorts aren't what they used to be, ya know?

There are limits. Like -- if you want something specific? They might just be able to do a replica. Not the real deal.

You can train at the Battle Dome, though as for supplies, once they announce the draft, you're allowed to ask for items then. They'll give you just about anything reasonable.
